Intimidating repent

I ask your forgiveness for thinking of myself as inferior, for I am created in Your image, and I am Your workmanship. Therefore the power that raised Jesus from the dead is in me and causes me to face life with hope and divine strength.

Your word says, "The Lord God of Israel gives strength and power to His people ".

Godly sorrow allows us to see how totally selfish, corrupt and far from God we are and causes us to place our hope in Him. Worldly sorrow, by contrast, is shallow and superficial, producing no real and permanent change.

At its core, repentance is It is turning from our previous self-centered way of life to serve God and center our life around Him.

Never forget, that because we have all fallen short of the glory of God, we have all grieved God so deeply that really His wrath should destroy us instantly, but because of what Jesus did for us on the Cross (with Jesus taking the punishment we should have had), we stand in a place where we can be RESTORED, healed and forgiven…

God’s promise of that transformation makes repentance important in and of itself.

It goes like this…ii) For some of us though, it’s not so much asking God to forgive us which is the problem or forgiving others.

Instead it’s our own sense of unworthiness that prevents us really feeling God’s forgiveness in our emotions that causes us heartache.

Here is how to forgive and how to ask God for forgiveness, so that you receive your request from Him and learn how to pray more effectively in line with His perfect will for your life.1.

Ask God to teach you how to forgive by His Holy Spirit.

In other words, while your mind may desire repentance, it is your heart that must offer the fruit to demonstrate your commitment to change. Paul says in Romans 12:2 that we need to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Spend time talking to God about repentance by expressing your gratitude to Him for the gift of His Son.
